Why not as good as the pc mmos of today, this game still holds of as one the best console mmo on the market.

This was my first mmo and my was it great, I was pretty deep into everquest at the time due to champions of norrath so i was pretty exited about this. So the game sets up really easy, no real ff 11 hassle or anything to get it up and running on your ps2. So when thats loaded and you have chosen your subscrition plan let the game begin! The game starts easy enough, And you are met with a character screen. This game is better about character creation than alot of other mmos ive played, Suggesting stats important to the class you have chosen and such are really quite helpfull. There are many races, from trolls to gnomes and even bulky ogres theres no doubt you'll find somthing you will like. The classes are also quite varied from the mmo norm and really offer some depth. The game though can be very overwhelming at first and really requires some time to get accustomend too, unless if your coming from pc everquest in which you should have no trouble, But newcomers might find it dawting untill they team with some plays and inevitablly learn the ropes. These games graphics while not neciasarrly holding up are still ok to look at. And everquests visual style has to be respected. The sound on the other hand isnt so great and you may find yourself bored out of your mind and wishing for music. Overall this is still a good MMO though if your really wanting to get into and mmo on the console i would recommend ff11, due to its amount of players and higher quality, But if your looking for an immersive romp through the worlds of norrath than look no further
