Shooting enemies in this game is actually pretty fun. You can pull off a ton of cool matrix-like moves and there is the usual assortment of military weapons. Unfortunatly you can't play as Neo, you have to play as either of two secondary charcters. They are mostly the same, except for the vehicle missions. If you play as the guy you ride in the shotgun and you blast cars with your gun. If you play as the girl you drive the car. The action is fast paced, but some of the enemies don't make much sense. I don't remember Vampires in the Matrix moives. Anyway, fighting Vampires is cool. The game doesn't seem polished very much, but if it was, it would be welcomed. The missions could have been varied more. The last two levels are completly different from the rest of the game and the gameplay wasn't introduced earlier. The multyplayer is horrid, it's bascally a dumb fighting game, but the option to fight as cars makes it enjoyable to play at least once. The fact that it has to be unlocked by a cheat code though, is kinda dumb. Anyway, if you are a big Matrix fan, rent this or buy it, but if your not, you may want to think twice before renting it.
