This game really got me into the multiplayer shooting realm.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars was the first game to really make me appreciate online shooters. The class system and the general set up of working with a team to accomplish an objective really began to help move me into the online shooting world. It was a very balanced build for all the classes and forced players to work togather to win. The greatest part was you could lose a round, but win the next 2 rounds and win overall. The game had extremely emmense maps that allowed a great enviornment to shoot up. The concept of vehicles in the game really added a new sense to the overall game play. It created a more intense realistic feeling to say the least. And the abilities that the class system gave out really changed my perspective on the shooting games. It definitly helped lead to a change in other games. It also introduced me to more of a specilized style of gameplay depending on which class I picked. Which helped develop some of the playing styles I use today in the Call of Duty series. This game also had great dynamics as far as the guns went. None of the guns were over powered in my opinion you could use any gun and kill anyone with it if you used it right. It really helped me understand more of the concept of a real engine as far as the shooting goes. It had the bullets trail off and you had to lead your targets. It really showed a more "real" style of warfare with a scify twist in there. And the number of maps really impressed me because it kept things fairly fresh every game. And depending on who you played ment that the whole map may change due to where they go to defend or attack or the way they do it. Overall this game lead to a very new perspective for me on online shooters.
