Insanity? I think so!

Earthbound is different from most RPG games, which is what makes this game so much fun to play with a high replay value. It contains a myriad of pop culture references, such as the Beatles and the infamous numbering system, so it's fun to notice them throughout the game. In addition to the references, it contains ideas that are just plain weird, which is what I enjoy most about it: from fighting a large pile of barf in a dark swamp eating pizza to stay alive to having the future predicted by an apple, Earthbound contains it all. While some are put off the insanity this game contains, they should remember that it's a game and lighten up; the stupidity is there to make you laugh, not make you go, "that's not real," because last time I check, people slaying dragons with swords and magic isn't real either. So, if you're in the mood to play games and laugh/smile, I highly recommend picking up a copy of this game and playing it.
