I was surprised. One of the best games on the SNES.

Well what can I say? I'm certainly impressed beyond belief at how much I enjoyed this game. So much in fact, it saved me throwing away my SNES!

Ness is probably one of the most loveable, memorable and interesting characters of all time on the nintendo and this game really does work with him. The premise is that Ness wakes up and investigates a meteor crash site and meets up with a character from the future who tells him to defeat the evil menace in the present time because he is too powerful in the future. So Ness goes forth to seek eight sanctuaries and combine his powers with Earth so he can defeat the evil menace.

The gameplay is of your typical RPG but it is actually quite immersive. The idea that a battle depends on your vantage point is a great idea, and really makes the player immersed in the game for longer.

Graphics are quite poor by todays standards, however that should not be of much of a deterance to the player.

I'm not a big fan of RPGs but this I'd have to say was quite interesting and I found it a joy to play. :'(
