I have played all the Dynasty warriors game , and i was even getting a bit bored until this one.
when i heard that a new Dynasty warriors was coming out i wasn't even sure about getting it , until i read accouple of reviews and decided they have done alot more with it.
Why i love it...
firtly i noticed that they have really tried to make it more roleplaying type , which i think the game really needed, as beat'em up can get a bit boring after so long. i like how you are able to level up your town , and that you could pick any character from wei , wu and shu,
customizing....
i loved that they have two weapons one that stuck to the characters original weapon and another that you could pick out of many different weapons, you are allowed to customise there weapons , depending on the weapon ,and can add chi skills to increase the characters potentiol, which i loved so much that you could really get customising with your character. and by adding orbs you can increase a state of your characters weapon or add a new one on.
Battles..
you are able to accept more than just the main battles , which all the other dynasty warriors have you are able to accept quests on the notice bored (which is found in the city) , by doing these you can collect matterial to make new weapon, orbs ,etc ( also within the city.)
FURY!
fury is basically there special , which instead of doing a special move they can keep it and us normal attacks that have been made stronger , and your characters defence is increased.
though it is neat that your character changes into a fury outfit like thing , there hair changes colour and they pretty much just look kick ass.
Sticks to the originals
even with the new things within the game you still have the missions you cant help but love , like battle of chi bi ,etc . they keep the story alive with cinematics , whist changing into the next chapter of the game.
Multi online player
i love how they have made the battles harder , and have added huge weaponary , as the missions (quests ) get hard you find the need for help so online or off line you can have a max of 4 people within a group, this makes it easyer but still got the bit of challange to it , to not make your mind wonder.
The BAD points ,
yes there is faults i dont like within this game ,
one being the loading screens between each section of the map though they are marked very clearly so you know when your going to see the loading screen , ( its not long , on a split second )
but you still notice it.
and second the have taken off line multi player out of the game , so you and you sibling cant be playing it together, which i found really annoying as i have always played dynasty warriors with my younger brother and now i cant.
