Although the game is fine, In all honesty it was not my favorite part.

User Rating: 8 | Dynasty Warriors 6 PS3
The game is good. Most of the mechanics I found were overly similar to the adjustments that Samurai Warriors 2 made. (I did not play Dynasty Warriors 5, mind you) There is a large roster of characters, with extremely exaggerated strength. (But because it is for the sake of the game, it is fine, because it only detracts from gameplay when you are at a fk in hard boss.) The combat, although at first feels repetitive, can offer a lot of enjoyment that not many other games can. (Makes you feel strong, killing ten people at once) The game's difficulty tends to vary, I ranked it hard because it can be hard, or it can be very easy. The story scenarios are pretty good for a game. (you just have to wish they were more in depth, then they would have true potential) So overall the game is good. But then comes my favorite part, the encyclopedia.
The encyclopedia offers an extensive account of the officers and progression of what really happened during the war. You can look up almost any officer in the game, and the encyclopedia will detail their involvement in the war. Now, I know some of you are saying "Why the hell would you get a game for just the encyclopedia?" well, I did not get the game for simply the encyclopedia, but it is one of the coolest features I have seen in a game, simply because of its sheer, extensive detail. I have a difficult time finding a more in depth account online. (I might just be searching in the wrong places, lol) So the game is fun, and its encyclopedia is detailed, but you have to wish KOEI would add a greater amount of innovation. It seems whenever they add something great, they end up taking away one of the better features of the bunch. But the game offers enough to keep me hooked, so I digress. I can't wait for Empires!
