My first full Koei game(I've played 2, and a demo of DW3.) is probably the most memorable. It's great, and there's a reason why I gave it a 9. First off it shows what it's creators can do. Make repetitive hack-n-slashing fun. That's right. It's a great but not perfect example of mindless fun. And the objective of every beat-em-up level is to defeat the enemy commander but not letting your commander die, and of course there's also a side objective sometimes. Apparently it's based on an old chinese story. unlike in other games of the series, you're not just looking for a new weapon, but I like that feature in Samurai Warriors. Instead, you're building up one weapon, RPG-style. Again it's not perfect but it's definitely worth your time.

concept 8: Make repetitive action fun

graphics 8: These are great visuals

sound 9: I like the guitar solos, speaking of witch you can do guitar solos of classic rock songs in the game Guitar Hero. Wait I just realized the sound of Samurai Warriors wrong. The 2 games are in fact different in audio. I'm sorry for any confusion. Forgive me.

playability 8: there's something about it that makes it a lot of fun

entertainment 9: I name this action game of 2003

replay value 9: moderately high
