Don't hail to the King, Baby!!

User Rating: 2.5 | Duke Nukem Forever X360
Probably the best part about Duke Nukem Forever is you don't have to play it. After a long hiatus, Duke is showing age in all the wrong places. The visuals of this game makes it look like it came out 6 years ago. Character models are ugly with stiffness and not much attention to detail. But the biggest problem with Duke Nukem is that it's boring. You spend more time platforming than shooting. The shooting can be fun at times with some interesting guns but these happen too far in between platforming moments. The game tries to be funny but fails to do so. It's offensive with jokes than just don't work like the inside Christian Bale joke. There's no momentum in the game and enemies just fall over when killed. There are driving sequences in the game are clunky and sometimes you can get lost when you just want to shoot enemies. There are times when you get shrinked or can shrink enemies. It's a cool idea but done for more platforming instead of shooting. Long loading screens make a player tired and stop playing the game. Multiplayer is flat with no one wanting to play with all the frame rate issues. Duke Nukem Forever was too good to be true after a 13 year hiatus. 2.5/10
