Who knew Cute Girls with Drills could be so much fun.

User Rating: 9.5 | Drill Dozer GBA
Seeing that drill Dozer came out so late in the GBA's lifetime it did not get the credit it deserved. The games starts out with your father having been beat up by a rival band of thiefs you take on his job as the Boss of the Red Dozer thief gang. Your out to get revenge for your father and get your precious Red diamond that the rival thiefs stole from you back. While the games story may not make you run to your nearest game store to pick Drill Dozer up the game play on the other hand will. This game is a classic platformer with some innovative new tricks. You may be saying why buy this platformer when I have games like Mario, Metroid, Sonic, and etc. Well lets just say that this game has some great perks of its own. Your main weapon in this game is your trusty Drill Dozer. You use it for just about everything. You drill blocks. You drill secret passage ways. You even use the drill as a key to open vaults. I never thought drills were so handy before I played this game. You control the drill with your left and right shoulder buttons. You can also upgrade the drill with new drill bits which there are three of in total. In each level you have three gears for the drill that you will need to find in order to progress. The gears let you spin your drill harder and faster. At the end of each level your gears breakdown making you find them again in the next level. You may say why bother, well the fact that you have to find the gears again gives you a bit of challenge otherwise this game would be far to easy. The boss battles in this game are actually quite fun, one even has you going inside of it to dismantle it from the inside. The graphics in this game are very cute and colorful. Overall this game is a great buy. You can find it used a GameStop for only 8 dollars, so I'd say pick it up. It even has a built in Rumble Pack to enhance your gameplay.
