The "hack and slash" style of gameplay mixed with multiple characters and plety of info into the dark storylin

This game is Drakengard 2 it was released on February 14, 2006 on the Playstation 2 by Square Enix. Having already played through the first Drakengard i had insight to the important storyline and dialogue that includes information from the first game. Drakengard 2 is a action RPG where you can use a few unique heros who use different weapons, combat styles, and magics to combat the many foes that stand in your destined path. Also there is dragon combat in which you fly on a dragon's back and he helps you defeat flying targets in the sky or structures and enemies on the ground. The game begins while a swordsman named Nowe is trying out for the Knight of the Seal the very guardians that keep the world in balance, with his trusted friend Legna the Black Dragon he is almost unstoppable and is bound for greatness. The basic combat system of this game is very "hack and slash" but you get a wide selection of 50 weapons each having a different selection of combos, magics, and unique qualities such as attack power, range, and guard breaking. The story line is very unique and has many twists in it to keep you guessing and interested with the characters and world around them. The graphics are quite good and there is generally no loading times to deal with while trying to accomplish your missions or slay your enemies. Drakengard 2 has a total of 3 ending to get and 4 difficulties you have to play to earn the special endings of this great RPG. This game isn't the most amazing work Square Enix has done but it was a great game and a very fun time playing a game. Overall i would rate Drakengard a 8.4 out of 10 and i would suggest that if your looking for a fun easy going game with lots of fun killing to try this one out.
