Wait, is it called Dragon's Lair or Dragon Slayer?

Dragon's Lair is more of an interactive cartoon than a video game. Essentially, all you do is press the joystick a certain direction at certain points. If you do it right, the story progresses. If you do it wrong, you die. This is the nature of the laserdisc style of games, which is one of the darkest most depressing times in video gaming. Dragon's Lair still managed to garner a cult following, since it was the most popular of the interactive cartoon style of games. Although the game style sucks, the developers did it right when it came to characters, story, and art. The game featured Dirk the Daring, and the goal was to rescue a princess, Princess Daphne. By today's standards, I can't believe anyone would take the time to play this. Yet the game has been ported to XBox and PS2, and soon to the PSP. However, at the time this game was considered revolutionary because the graphics were so detailed. Although would you really consider it graphics if you have no control over it?
