When playing a collect'em all game it all invariably boils down to halfway through the game you either give up or say "This is crap I'm gonna go play some more pokemon!" Well this game never lets you experience that moment because not only does it pitch an unnessesary god awful amount of characters to gather nor does it skimp and feel like a waste of money and leave you angry at the developer of the game.I originally recieved this as a gift from the conscience and i am glad he gave this to me because i still haven't managed to beat the final boss,who admititdely looks like a giant pile of crap,but thats besides the point he still managed to make me be stuck for a year and a half at the same point, and i beat halo on legendary mode.That says a little about the difficulty but not enough, the difficulty ramps up at a steady pace never leaving you feeling overwhelmed or the converse too easy. Then there is the recruiting which is much different from what you would expect like in pokemon where you dmage it and throw a poke'ball to catch it, you have to feed it some meat and then and only then can it decide if it wants to join you! But thats all the part of the fun and the monsters are creative and original and most of the time not what you would expect from such a well established developer like Square Enix, though at the time they were Square Soft. This is one of my all tim favorite games regardless of what system you support and its only 10 dollars, so I suggest you go pick it up.
