Fabulous graphics, tons of fan service, and amazing team battles!

User Rating: 8.5 | Dragon Ball Tag VS PSP
The wildly popular Anime/Manga series Dragon Ball Z has had it's fair share of fighting games, and this one is one of the best.

Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team brings the beloved Budokai Tenkaichi series to the Sony PSP, and it packed team battles with it!

The graphics greatly improve on that of Shin Budokai, and the fights are fully 3D. It is literally Budokai Tenkaichi on the PSP.

It features around 70 characters, which is tiny compared to Budokai Tenkaichi 3's massive 161 character roster, but it's enough to keep fans entertained.

Team battles are simple. Two fighters on one side, two on the other (Don't worry. You can battle one-on-one and two-on-one too). Both fighters are on the screen at the same time. You take on one of the opponents, and your partner takes on the other. You can switch who you are fighting on the opposite team with a simple click of a button. You can also help your partner, and vice versa. The visuals are such an upgrade from Shin Budokai, it's hard to describe.

This is the first Dragon Ball Z game to feature the cast of Dragon Ball Z Kai, so it's a bit of getting use to if you prefer the original series, but it doesn't bother you after a while.

The fighting is as white-knuckled and exciting as always.

Also, if you choose to play as the team of Goku and Vegeta, or Goten and Trunks, you can fuse and defuse during battle, which is pretty epic.

You can customize your character's stats to make them incredibly strong, which is just awesome.

A few key modes I feel like mentioning are:
Story Mode.
Battle 100.

Battle 100 is similar to Raging Blast 2's Galaxy Mode, facing random teams all the time. It's pretty fun.

The Story mode is okay, but could be better. You fly around the world as chibi characters, so yeah. That's lame.

Don't fret though, this game has enough fan service and action to keep any fan entertained.
