I got this game as soon as I got my PS2 (large version). This is my first PS2 game. I had received it in June 2003. The point is, this game could have been better. For example, everyone who has this game knows that there are 4 major sagas in the DBZ series: Saiyan, Frieza, Cell, and Buu. Only 3 of them were shown in the game which excluded the Buu Saga. Without showing that saga, it prevented transformations such as Super Saiyan 3, Gotenks fusion, Buu characters, and more characters were not shown because that saga was not added. I think that if it was added, it would get a higher score than just a 7 out of 10. Yet, they still added Great Saiyaman, which he does not appear until the beginning of the Buu Saga. I mean if you're going to add a character from the Buu Saga, then at least include that saga instead of having people puzzled over why there is Great Saiyaman if there is no Buu Saga? A cool part about the game is the intro. The makers made it look better than it is shown on TV. What I mean by that is the graphics are much better for the intro on a PS2 than watching the intro for a DBZ video. It looks more 3D.
