Ok, so if you were disappointed with the first budokai game, which most people were, then this game will redeem the name of Budokai. It has a much higher quality of graphics than the previous game. It has more characters, a better story mode, and better fights.

In this game, the story mode is quite different, in a better, to some degree, way. Instead of selecting a fight, you are on a gameboard type setting, with Goku as your main Pawn. You travel around the different scenes, on different locations of the planet and Universe.

Then, you've got duel mode, fun, but gets a little boring after you continue to win (or lose) against your compeditor.

Of course, a world tournament, like always, is one of the best modes in DragonBall Z games. It has your average stages of play, Novice, Adept, and Advanced.

Then, you have options and such, boring things. Finally, after you finish the full story mode, you can get a extra stage, Babadi's Ship. Here, you can fight unique battles, and gain capsules. Not much else to do there though.

Overall, I feel that this game really redefined the name of DragonBall Z video games. It made everyone who was a fan of DragonBall Z to think, what will happen next. If your planning on buying it, you'll have to get it used cause you can't find it new anymore.

There are only a couple of bad qualities this game has, one being the lack of activity after you complete the game. Really the only thing that is left to do is the story mode again and again. Which, sometimes is fun, but it gets very repetitive after a while. Another being that this game does not feature a real challenge, in the beginning, but gets very hard towards the end, against kid Buu. Which brings me to point number three, the scaryness of kid buu at the end of the story mode, so be careful.

Thanks for reading my review, and to the people that have this game already, I hope you agree with me.
