Why are many people so harsh on it? Remember, people... it's a GBA! We can't expect it to hold more than 32 bits!

User Rating: 9 | DOOM GBA
Doom was the game that started the first person shooter genre. And since this GBA game is a port of a 64-bit PC, we can't expect it to hold more than 32 bits. But, this does not take all the fun away, because there are 24 fun challenging levels, cool level design, etc.

GRAPHICS: The graphics are slightly brightened and the animation could definitely need some more work. But the graphics actually look pretty good for the GBA/DS/Lite because they have this cool 2.5-D camera. It really boosts up the graphic's score. 8/10.

SOUND: The audio is also fairly good, too. But, some music here turns out a bit tinny and over-synthesized like A LOT of game's music on the GBA comes out. But, the sound effects and voices are crisp clear, and they sound realistic and are well syncronized for an Advance. 5.9/10

GAME PLAY: The gameplay is exactly the same as the PC version. You know the drill; shooting enemies with your weapons and collecting unlockables and poweruppers. 10/10.

OVER ALL: What can I really say? Remember people... It's an Advance! We can't expect it to hold more than 32-bits!!! Even though I found this game in gamestation as a little surprise, I'd worth recommending it nevertheless. Overall: 9.5/10.
