Fun, challenging, and gorgeous.
Let's start off with the story line. Donkey Kong lost some bananas. O.K! Now fun!
The game play is typical of your side scrolling platform, but quite challenging at certain levels or bosses. It's pretty fast paced depending on how good you are. You might often find yourself falling off a cliff or running into bees, no need to worry though, gaining extra lives is no hard task.
The graphics are just gorgeous. You'll feel completely immersed in the environment on each level, whether it be jungle, water, or cave. The character animations are well done, Donkey Kong does look like a gorilla, forgive me if I'm wrong.
The sound is great for the game. It goes well with every level and even adds to the feeling of immersion.
Replay Value is high. You can beat it and go back and find every bonus barrel. Play with your friends or family. You'll want to come back and kick some Kremlin butt!
If you have an SNES, I urge you to get all of the Donkey Kong Country games.
