Donkey Kong Country 3 ends the series with more of the same, but still gives a great experience.

By the time you start Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble you might be hoping for a change of any kind. If this is the case you may be slightly let down. If you can get by this however you may find one of the best platforming games available. Donkey Kong and Diddy have been captured. It's up to Dixie and Kiddy Kong to save them. Sound painfully familiar yet? Not all is the same in DKC world. The overworld is now more open-ended and you can actually visit worlds in a different order if you have the appropriate vehicle to approach them. This adds some variety to the game. Levels are again varied including docks, underwater, caves, indoor warehouse-esque levels, factories, and waterfalls. These levels show off Super Nintendo graphics to the maximum. Also the game features the most memorable soundtrack of the series most definately. The only thing that dips the score from the last two is the lack of change. If you enjoyed the first two, I don't even know why you're reading this. Go play this right now.
