With many unlocks in so many different modes, it's a relatively diverse rhythm game, from 4 to 8 buttons, whether you're just a beginner or have been playing rhythm games all your life, DJ Max will challenge you and make you break your limit, forcing you to unlock more equipment as you play and unlock songs, disks and albums, also giving you full control with the speed control, fader control, chaos and various other modes. The multiplayer mode is also fantastic as it allows you to play all the songs with your friend! The songs in itself can stand alone well, as they really do each have their own unique sound and... it's actually pretty good! The songs come in three languages: English, Korean and Japanese, the genres also vary. However, one thing that most people would get irritated by is the format of which you can play the songs, sometimes, to unlock a few new songs, you would have to clear the respective modes over and over again!
