Deep, broad, engaging. It's everything I had hoped Dragon Age would be.
I have heard a lot of negative comments regarding combat mechanics and difficulty. I personally have had no problems at all. For one, if the story is good enough and there is plenty of loot, I don't have to have "feel like you are there" combat. On the pc version combat is strategic rather than timing/button mashing oriented. A few well timed jumps and dodges don't hurt, but proper use of potions and special attacks are the key to victory. When confronted with a difficult combat situation, pulling and use of your summoned creature is necessary. It is not an easy game, but would it be worth playing if it were? Not for me.
I highly recommend this game to any action/RPG fan.
