The good: excellent graphics, map styled content is fun, pleasing music, unlock many roads with minigames`
The bad: Mini-games and board games can get boring and repetitive after a while, too easy, lack of a boss.

When I was young, I used to watch anything related to Winnie the Pooh. I still love that cuddly bear after all these years. Now he has a Game Boy Color game that's surprisingly worth a purchase from any gamer. In fact, Winnie the Pooh: Adventures in the hundred acre wood is the biggest sleeper game worth a purchase.

There basically isn't a plot, although the game is largely based on the classic 1979 movie. Pooh must travel the hundred acre wood collecting eight storybooks by collecting certain tasks from characters. You can completely beat the game by getting 100% knowledge of the woods. You basically play board games that use teeter totters and certain foods for characters to get distracted on. It's certaintly a treat when you get to unlock many levels and minigames, but it gets really boring when you have the play them all over again when you run into a character.

The games graphics aren't a wow factor, but their great enough to get some of that wow factor. The music is really special too, with cool soothing music, even on the game boy color. The map music is surprisingly catchy too.

Overall, Adventurs in the hundred acre wood is a great kids game for those excited about the yellow bear. One of the better game boy color games, but a treat for anyone at any age who still likes Pooh after all these years.
