Goof Troop is a game that is meant for two, like a tandem bike.

Goof Troop, for the Super NES, is, at heart, an adventure game. It takes the characters from the cartoon and throws them into a sub-par storyline.
In single player, you control Goofy and Max while trying to get items and solve puzzles with said items to find Pete and PJ. The rope gun shoots a string across gaps, while the shovel digs holes to find items. You can use various throwable items to defeat pirates and eat fruit to get hearts and jewels for lives. Some of the puzzles are somewhat difficult, but will not require more than a few attempts to get it right.
The game shines with its two player mode, giving one player control over Goofy and the other Max. The game becomes harder because you must work together and solve puzzles rather than think them out alone. Goofy is slower but stronger, whereas Max is faster and weaker.
As you explore the island you land on in search of Pete and PJ, who were kidnapped by pirates, you come across five levels. They are the beach, inner island, castle, cave, and pirate ship; they drastically increase in difficulty as the game progresses.
Overall, the entire Goof Troop experience is good, but even better with a friend.
