Even motorstorm couldn't live up to this off-road superbness.

By saying this game is the best in the series, I mean its the best in the Dirt series, not Colin Mcrae series. Its everything that makes a great racing game, and after only owning it for a couple of days it is already my favorite racing game. The graphics are 10/10, and an improvement from Dirt 2 (which I didnt think would be possible), and even the sound effects are incrediably realistic, and they have captured the rally enviroment perfectly.

At first the the car handling may seem a bit over the top, as the turning is really sensetive, so trust me when I say that you will have to change the car setup, unless you ejoy racing toy cars.

I was happy to see some of the older classic rally cars, as the the car collection is from 60's upwards (including the awesome old school Mini Cooper), and includes a way larger collection than the last games, it even includes the Pikes Peak rally class. Also the 2010 Ken Block Ford Fiesta that you can play with in the stunt arenas.

I would have given the game a full 10 score, but I still feel there wasn't enough Rally events to fully satisfy my needs, but the ones that are included are alot more exiting than previously, with more countries and stages, including Kenya, Norway and Finland.

This game is an essential purchase if you are in to your off road racing action. The narators may seem to annoy you at first but eventually just start to laugh at the cheesy comments.

Superb racing game, and a very successfull game as far as I'm concerned.
