Opening Thoughts:
Well, the first Digimon: Battle Spirit was crap. So, I was not expecting much from the second title.

Story: 30%
Gameplay: 40%
Graphics: 20%
Durability: 10%

Story (2/10)
There is none! You'd think the first thing that goes through a developer's mind is 'What should we do to make this game interesting?' I am having trouble believing the answer was 'How about we take out the storyline?' For some reason, however, Dimps decided not to care. Maybe because they have a name like Dimps…

Gameplay (5/10)
It is only a little bit better than the original DBS. The useless taunt buttons have successfully been removed, but…now they don't do anything. Huh…makes you think.

The game is still the same, essentially. You progress through stages, fighting a different Digimon each time. The stages are a bit more interesting in this release, but the fighting is still implemented horribly.

The point of the game is to (hold your breath here) collect more orbs than your opponent! Yes, that's right. No health bars here. Each time you hit your opponent, an orb flies out. You collect it. This type of fighting would be good for a minigame, but the entire game is based off of this.

Graphics (4/10)
Horrible graphics and miscolored Digimon. Enough said.

Durability (3/10)
The game may be fun to pick up once in a while, but you could definitely buy something better.
