Short, button-mashing, cheap fighting game.

What kind of lazy developers make a game like that? It's a good thing I didn't buy that game. It's only objective was obviously to produce a cheap game barely entertaining, relying only on the name of the series to sell it.

There is no storyline or character development whatsoever. You start, pick a digimon and fight. The gameplay is mostly fighting in a very, very small arena hitting your opponent and running to catch little points to evolve (and win). It won't take you more than 2 minutes to learn how to play, because sadly, this is just another button mashing fighting game. The levels aren't really different from each other except for the last one which is a pain to beat so there, you have some challenge.

The graphics aren't good but they're not particularly bad either, since the fighting animation is quite smooth. The music and sound effects are arcade-ish and add nothing to the gameplay. You just listen to it because it's there.

Fan of Digimon or not, don't waste your time (and money) on this one.
