Fans of the first movie should give this game a shot.

I will open this review with my one major complaint; The voice acting is absolutely atrocious. With the exception of Reginald VelJohnson reprising his role as Al Powell, the rest of the voice acting is just down right awful. Horrendous.

The game itself isn't bad. A little glitchy but not bad. Definitely not the best first person shooter ever made but not the worst either. If you're a fan of the Die Hard movies (or at least the first movie) you will be able to appreciate this game. It's basically a recreation of the first movie. It's somewhat repetitive. Like the movie, terrorists seized Nakatomi Plaza and you have to clear each floor. It is quite funny how there's only 12 to 14 terrorists in the movie and you kill at least 100 in this game so I wouldn't say it's entirely accurate.

The graphics are okay for a 2002 game. The environments get repetitive but the action is pretty good. The hit detection with the MP5 is a little ridiculous. Sometimes you'll fire about 15 rounds before you finally hit your target. But a well placed head shot will get the job done. The save system is decent and health packs are scattered around.

Overall the game is pretty good. It would probably appeal more to fans of the movie. But if you love first person shooters in general then pick this one up. Get it cheap online.
