For me, Diablo III didn't really get interesting until the Reaper of Souls add-on. Before that, it didn't grab me. Diablo III has dumbed-down the character system, which seems to be a disturbing trend in games. But sometimes you just want to hack and slash, and for that Diablo III delivers.
