Exactly this! You play as the imagination of the author, not a character in game. You are the authors imagination, being played by yourself. This is genius :) It's a very good way of telling a story to somebody. The game is a very.. well let's just say it's a very detailed game that can be quite creepy.. but the whole thing about being a game is a defiant NO.

This is not a game. This is an interactive story.... with no interactions, if that makes sense; and I couldn't really recommend it to anybody. It's very slow moving with no way to run. It's got no interactions and to a lot of people it will be completely boring, this is if you can't appreciate stuff like this which I respect because not everybody likes reading books so not everybody will like playing a book :).

So I don't really know where am going with this other than the "game" is unique and different and if that is what you are after.. Then give it a try. Hope this helped in some way or another.
