It's always a relaxing pleasure to break some bones while gaming! ;)
Detective Jack Slate has to dispatch lots of thugs. Uses his fists, weapons and his dog Shadow. Every set of moves works pretty good (one or two little flaws, but nothing that affects the whole experience)
Graphics are pretty good, and sound is strong, as well. I personally love the voice acting (my favorite sentence is when Jack knocks out some enemies, and when there are no more, says full of anger: "anyone else?") EPIC!
About its weak points, the camera sometimes gets in the way, and the combo animations sometimes keep going even when Jack loses the focus on the enemy, causing the final attacks to miss.
The story is expectable, but is not bad at all. The game accomplishes what it promised. I would recommend it to relieve some real-life stress ;)
