Addictive and fun!

DDRMAX is one of those games you just never get sick of (or it is for me at least). When I first got the game I spent at least 2 hours straight playing it. A month or so later I’ve barely slowed down. Although I have gotten a lot better. What makes DDRMAX so much fun is that there is so much room for improvement. With a fairly long list of songs and three difficulty settings for each, as well as work-out, double, and oni mode, the possibilities are vast. Although the graphics are definitely nothing to rave about, this in no way takes away from the game. Especially since you are most likely to be paying attention to what’s going on with you’re feat during the game rather than the background graphics. At first when you start playing the game, it seems extremely hard to keep up and you get easily discouraged (unless of course you’ve played DDR before) but once you get at least somewhat good, the engaging game becomes an amazingly fun and healthy experience! After playing the game more and more you become better and are able to complete more songs, in effect unlocking new songs. It’s also fun to wow your friends with your amazing skills once you’ve become a pro. The fun gets even better when you add another person to the mix. The verses mode lets you pit yourself against friend and see who’s the ultimate “dancer”.

Let it be said that I haven’t played many other versions of Dance Dance Revolution games so this game is automatically my favorite. The content and fun that comes with DDRMAX is most likely not vastly different from what you’ll find in the other DDR games. In conclusion I find DDRMAX to be a fun and extremely addictive game with a high replay value. The game is the ultimate party game and fun workout machine. If you like rhythm games, dancing, or even if you just want to have some fun, get DDRMAX and you won’t be disappointed!
