'to be honest,didnt expect this,but this one is just the best start for 2010..pure victory of entertaining gameplay'
1.everybody might agree if i say that a game becomes worthwhile when it becomes engaging,makes you glued to your seat,has excellent combat,great weapons,good strategies,puzzles,amazing boss battles,good story,great upgrades and different from the usual ones;well in short thats darksiders.
2.the graphics of the game is not mindblowing,but is quite enough because after the first hour that aint gonna bother you no more,coz there is a lot the game offers.
3.the hack and slash of this game isnt just pure button mashing,but is interesting combat strategies and wise use of weaponery to fight through.smaller creatures can just be torn apart with your fists,you can jump and catch flying bats and pierce your sword through them,you can become a monster and fight a monster,good finishing moves can leave your enemies crying,use your environment to fight,take cars and smash them or just throw at them,or if not a car,chairs or tables will do.battle upgrades are not just assignes to you but to each weapon which also improves as you move along,upgrades can be for your sword or wise use of a secondary weapon,let it be a scythe or a gun or even a propelling blade similar to dark sector or even an upgraded fist to just blast your way through ice blocks.you run,you jump,you glide,you swim,you dash,you dodge,you fight,you just blast in this game.
4.great puzzles which are so well balanced that you dont need to spent hours thinking,but yeah need to tackle to move along and wisely made upgrades or abilities will help you all along.let it be climbing on to a box a ceiling sloth is pulling and eating to jump across or slowing down time to pass a vicious snail trying to grab you if you step on the ground.
5.boss battles are a treat,as your main motto for a long time is to find these bosses and to kill them,planning your way to them with the aid of power ups or abilities that you win along on your path.
6.story is different and compliments well with the game.
alas would like to request all not to compare this one with god of war,coz this is a different game and is a very deserving game in aspects of gameplay and overall.
