I played all the installments of Darkside so far. It is not the best, however, it is very fun to play. I read some reviews stating that this game is boring. I do not think so. It is additive when you get used to the game. It is the kind of game to be played every 4 years or so..
Darksiders III starts very hard in difficulty because of the learning curve (dodging is a most). and when having all the power and weapons, there are parts of the game when have to use most of them in sequences.
My recommendations are:
1. to level up as fast as possible while making progress in the game... All the weapons can be upgraded, as well, as the attached Rune. Upgrade first the main weapon.
2. you get something that can increase attributes +1. Do not use them until the end of the game. Getting attributes become expensive ( more souls). At some point you may have around 8 of those. I would say than when you reach level 40, you can use all of them at the same time.
3. With level 40 can beat most of the latest bosses with no poblem. Level 50 is ideal.
4. Use the runes that give you souls only to upgrade weapons (buy demonic, angelic, etc stuff to upgrade weapons and attached runes). Do not use them to level up. Use the souls you earned through the game by killing monsters to level up only.
5. There are a lot of hidden places waiting to get the next power. Take note of those places to locate them easily when getting those powers.
With that, it makes very easy through the game. The game takes around 20-25 hours to be beat. Very fun and additive... Some places are very frustrating, but it is few.
Exploring is the additive part, once you get new powers, you have to get back to the beginning to ensure you reach all the hidden places. Leveling up is a most to go to all the parts.
Graphics are so-so, not to much to find there, no 4K, no HDR.
