At first when i heard about this game I thought it would be amazing and a "must have", but when I bought it I was wrong. The game has some of the strangest ideas for game-play such and the incredibly stupid chasers. The game is pretty hard at some points but not because of the AI, in fact the AI are some of the worst I have ever seen, a lot of the enemies will run right past you as if not noticing you. Darkest of Days also suffers from horrible frame rate slow downs and even locks up in some cases, as if that's not bad enough enemies will become lodged in trees and fences which makes it almost impossible to kill them. The story is decent but not even close to being enough to saving this game. Although with all its down sides, some players may find it fun and at least worth a rent, destroying mobs of Nazis with a high tech assault rife, or a mobile shoulder mounted artillery weapon can be fun. For achievement junkies there will be mixed results of happiness, there are only 11 achievements and they are for the most part very easy. I will say rent Darkest of Days first then buy if you actually like it.
