glichy, cheap and left me feeling let down

iv played about 50 hours of dark souls and found the first half of the game to be interesting and fresh but soon that freshness got overshadowed. i started to find that the best way to beat any enemy in the game is to first try to exploite a glich or snagg. ememys constantly walking of edges to their deaths, running into fire or just turning around once you have ran through the area only to be shot in the back. these were certanly not the only gliches, arrows sticking into thin air, attacks through walls and a unreliable targeting system for spells. i think i could have overlooked some of the problems if dark souls was able to deliver the same fair experiance that demon souls did, but it doesnt. it often feels like a player has been cheated into death, most common of which is the choice to make one of the biggest oppositions in the game small paths that surve only one purpose.... to stop progress and force repetitive play by returning back to your last bonfire. with games like arkum city, skyrim, gears of war, deus ex ect. have we not surpassed the silly uninventivness of that type of save system and cheap game play? i think so. a broken game that may age well in the days of online patches and DLC
