The latest DDR game that I actually like. Worth checking out with tons of unlockables.

The very first Dance Dance Revolution came out around 1998, I never actually started to enjoy DDR until around 2004 but I never play anymore look at the future now DDR sucks with new Japanese songs, that bore me, and I don't play them for ex: (DDR SuperNOVA 1&2, DDR Universe 1&3, and DDR Hottest Party 1&2, there are probably more games like this, but because of a lot of garbage music I do not much care for DDR anymore).

DDR Extreme 2 was the very last game that I actually really liked throughout the whole series.

It's was also the first DDR I believe to have Online Play though
Konami's online severs closed for that game now.

The game for the first time had a Dance Master Mode which in
has these missions were you had to play the song with some sort of Dance Setting on like: (Speed, Boost, Dark, Solo, Difficulty, Reverse, etc). After that you get points for doing the missions which you can use to go to the Shop later in the game and buy Challenge modes, New Songs, Characters, and Game Modes.

Which in a way was fun at first, but in later games it started to become a nuisance. I miss the older DDR games (1st MIX - Extreme). Where you could just play a bunch of songs and unlock other songs by just playing whatever song you want with no special options added on, especially for those who are just getting used to the game.

Overall Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2 in my opinion was the last DDR game that I actually enjoyed and I most likely as a fan of DDR for 5 years, I wont buy another one for quiet a long while. Beginners of DDR should stick with the true DDR games. Here is my list
