In short, Crysis is worth a buy. If you wish to know why, read more. At the time of its release it was a game that stood out. Graphics aside, it was a huge sandbox game that stood out amongst the rest. Sure the AI was average, but it was a different FPS. With 5 different armor power ups, it was a unique game that was addictive. Set on a remote island in a jungle, you are paired with your team to battle against a tough team of Korean's and a mysterious force. Most of the power ups are fun to play with, but others leave much more to be desired. Maybe not to all, but it did have its' appeal to most. The different environments, game play, and its story line (though not the greatest) were enough to differentiate itself from most shooters. Crysis was a milestone mostly due to its graphics, but I do hope in the future that it will develop more thoroughly.
