Rating Crysis is pretty hard because there aren't any games quite like it. You can say it's an FPS, but it isn't really. It is it's own genre of FPS.
Map: The game is a big sandbox FPS that gives you endless options of how to approach a situation.
Combat: Fun combat that incorporates the Nanosuit to let you kill enemies in anyway you want. You can slowly pick them off from a distance or run in and fill them full of bullets. The only problem is the lack of guns. For a game so open world and free, the number of guns is lacking. It still doesn't lack in satisfying the player.
Game elements: Crysis incorporates a Nanosuit which is a core part of the gameplay. It lets you cloak, sprint, jump, and punch your way through levels. Crysis also has some parts where you can use tanks and VTOLS, but I won't spoil it.
Story: Crysis features a dramatic story with many characters. You will always find yourself wanting to know what happens next, or what kind of crazy alien you will encounter. I can't say any more because I don't want to spoil it.
Multiplayer: Crysis multiplayer is surprisingly active and does not disappoint. It features a large map with a new interesting mode called Power Struggle in which 2 sides battle for control of the map. There is also a death match mode but surprisingly no team death match, but Power Struggle is the main attraction. Crysis multiplayer is another original and great part of Crysis 3 and increases the overall rating of the game.
All-in-all Crysis is a great FPS that stands out in it's genre so I give it a grand 9.5/10.
