Crysis 2 is a beautiful game without the cheapness :)
In general, this game has great graffics and i was surprised by the sound! Skills in the game may seem cheap at first, but you'll get used. Also, controls feel wierd at first, but you'll get used to it and thats when you really start to enjoy Crysis 2.
First up is campaign. 1 word, BEAUTIFUL. They werent lying when they said "best looking game on console." Enemies have very good ai as of where i am now. The opening is awesome and i just fell in love with it within the first few minutes. Voice acting and story are pretty good too! Get used to the fact your screen turns blue everytime you start running/jump so it might get kindof annoying.
Multiplayer - Multiplayer is nice as well. Maps are pretty balanced and big. You may think invisibility and armor may get to be cheap, but its actually not that bad! just depends on how you use it. As i said above, it may take a while to get used to the controls. Till then, you might just rage quit and suck and keep saying "I COULDVE SWORN I KILLED HIM." Once you get the controls down, you're good to go and will enjoy the game. I liked how Crysis 2 put more bullets in the mag. Usually around 40ish for a typical gun. This is good so you wont have to reload all the time and can actually kill someone in the game with armor on. The game is also very balanced in multiplayer. It doesnt take 2 bullets to kill and takes 2 melees to kill someone. This is a great addon so people wont go around hitting ppl to death like in mw2... The only thing i dislike about multiplayer is how sniping also takes 2 hits. You cant quickscope, which i really wish you could since im a sniper.. The guns in the game have a good amount of kick, which means you have to have some skill. Burst fire a lot long range, it really helps! Also, silencers do weaken your weapon, which i think balances things out even more unlike other cod games where they're an anti radar shower upper thing.. Sound in this game is also very good, the only thing ive noticed so far is that the animation and sound is quite pitiful when you break glass. Other than that, gunwise is very good! I also like teh fact you have to pick up dog tags. It makes you have to go get it if you kill someone over long range. It can be a drag, but also prevents people in a game to have 2 chopper gunners in the game at once or 3 helicopters at once. Once again, more challenging!
Overall, great game! check it out. I am unbiased and new to Crysis. I've played other shooters and would have to say this wont make you rage quit unless you just plain suck :)
