After great Twinsanity, Titans **** up Crash, but Mind Over Mutant is fortunately slightly better.

User Rating: 6.5 | Crash: Mind Over Mutant PS2
Crash Of The Titans was a boring fighting game with a not so unique plot, too much fighting and just a bit platforming and even the platforming was frustrating at times. Mind Over Mutant tries to improve and really does it. Doctor Neo Cortex is back again to rule the world and is doing some bad job with Evolvo Ray and evil mojo. The characters are Crash, Coco, Neo Cortex, Nina Cortex, N. Gin, Crunch and it's nice to have Nitrus Brio back. The videos are comic book style 2D-drawings and they are funny, but sometimes not too nice to look. The game has nice jokes, but some of them aren't too bright. Crash is stupid again and Cortex is evil and a bit stupid too. The graphics are good and better in Titans. The platforming is more enjoyable and there is more platforming than fighting. Fighting system is the same and it works somewhat fair. There are different places like a dark mountain, sunny Wumpa Island, hot desert and icy kingdom. There are new titans and the old ones have slight changes in appearance and moves too. The controls are very easy to learn and the game is easy, but a bit too short. I finished the game in about 6 hours and the final boss fight is ridiciously easy (but Cortex looks funny with his big muscles and six pack). The game also makes the player go through same places several times and it sometimes becomes annoying and the game becomes boring. This happens many times. Overall, Mind Over Mutant isn't as bad as Titans, but Traveller's Tales, please make the next Crash and make the series a platforming game serie again. Chant with me: Twinsanity 2! Radical sucks!
