My 93rd review after Crash of the Titans.
Well what can I say? Just like Crash of the Titans, this game is not bad at all. It's quality has been improving since Crash of the Titans came out. What's funny about this game is that it includes cut-scenes in the styles of Dragon Ball, The Animatrix, and South Park. Anyways this game takes place after the events of Crash of the Titans and Dr. Cortex is back as he teams up with his old partner Nitrus Brio, who has invented the NV, which brainwashes whoever uses it so it's up to Crash to free his friends from it and thwart Dr. Cortex's plot once and for all. This game gets an A-! That's right! An A- because while it's fun and all, the only issues is the backtracking and the camera controls. That's why I'm giving this game an A-. Here the results:
Voice-acting 8/10: Same as it's predecessor.
Gameplay 9/10: While it's fun and it has huge improvements just like Crash of the Titans and also includes new mutants, the only issue is the backtracking. It's also convenient that you can carry a spare titan with you and they can also jump.
Graphics 9/10: All I can say is the graphics are pretty cool after all.
Controls 7/10: Well they were pretty simple, although the camera sucks. The camera is the problem.
Sound/Music 9/10: Not much to say about the music but it's nice.
Lasting Appeal 9/10: Pretty superb game just like Crash of the Titans. It's a sad shame that this is the last Crash Bandicoot game ever made.
Overall, Crash: Mind Over Mutant is not a bad game for a platformer!
The Good:
-Just the voice-acting which is the same
-Tons of more fun and improvement
-More titans to hijack and they can also jump and be carried with you
-Very good humor like the previous game
The Bad:
-What's very tedious and boring is the backtracking issue
-Awful camera controls
This game can be tons of fun if you enjoyed Crash of the Titans. They need to make more Crash Bandicoot games as soon as possible. That's all I got to say. Good day to you.
