A frantic and chaotic game that will have you coming back for more.
If you want a little bit of a challenge you should try to get kill strikes or consecutive kills so that your survival meter goes up and allows you to unlock three unlockables. The red icon is you health regenerator and it allows you to regain health after a fight, the green icon allows you to move faster then the other players and the yellow icon makes you jetspin a weapon of death. During you battles you can also drive a jeep or a tank. They can only be moved on a specific trail and can be damaged by all weapons so they don't become to powerful to all the other players. There are also super weapons, such as the chain gun and plasma cannon, that replace you main weapon for thirty seconds. There are also stationary weapons that can help turn the tide of battle. The turret gun lets you shot at the other side of the stage to kill the enemy without them able to counter attack and there are RC rockets that you can control manually to destroy you enemies form a distance. All enemies caught in the blast will be killed.
The visuals for this game are very nice. The level of detail on the levels is amazing. It is very well lit and the levels are well designed. The levels have two layers to them and you will need your jetpack to get from one area to another. This becomes chaotic when you are trying to get from one place to another and you get into so aerial combat. The player models are very simple and the only true difference is what color they are wearing. That is the only way you can tell who is in what team. Each weapon looks different so you can tell who is carrying what weapon and how to counter it.
The meat of this game is to go online and play against other people. There are three game modes to choose from: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Map Objectives. Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch speak for themselves but within Map Objectives there are two different styles of it. You can either destroy control panels or download information from the computer and upload them to your satellite. The online battles are chaotic and a lot of fun.
If you don't have a steady online connection then this game isn't for you, since the single player won't keep you coming of more. It will last you only about an hour at most to finish and maybe another hour more so that you can get past the commando scores. It has no story so if you want a game with a story you should pass on this game.
If you like 2D games, to play online and love chaotic matches then this game is for you. You get all of the crazy madness for a relatively cheap price and this game will have you coming back for more.
