The most underappriciated Crash Bandicoot game.
The story is simple: a mad scientist name Neo Cortex (with Nitrus Brio) wants to conquer the world, so he creates he's own mutant army. Crash Bandicoot (who is one of Cortex' creatures) escapes and wants to save his girlfriend, Tawna.
Although, I don't care that much about graphics, I have to say, that this game's graphics are ahead of its time. Levels are fun, creative and longer you, it gets evenly harder. Gameplay is the best part of Crash Bandicoot. Jumping is fun and easy. Boss battles are good, but could have been harder. Music is often said to be "average", but I would say, that it is great and suitable in every level.
I understand, that Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped and CTR are better than this game, but without this game there wouldn't be those other Crash games.
A great debut game, and it is a must have.
