Having played crash 2 and being impressed with that, I thought that warped wouldn't be much different. Well it is and it isn't. Sure familiar ground is walked on again but there are new levels added and also a host of new moves that you earn by defeating the boss after all 5 levels in a room are passed. Also added to that are the vehicle levels which add something new. Coco is finally a playable character who also has her share of vehicle stages and also riding a baby tiger. Even today the graphics are still top notch and as a DLC off the PSN it's also a bargain for those who wish to relive crash's glory days.
When crash made the transition to the ps2 with the wraith of cortex it took some aspects from warped but also made sure to keep things new. Warped was and still is the best in the psone series. Out of the ones that came to ps2 wraith of cortex really is the better one as the other hybrids that were made were just bad.
