it was one of my first multiplayer FPS games. for sure, it is the best

I started playinf CS, once it was released. and it was one of few multiplayer game I played so far. we were about 5 fellas playing CS, on LAN, at an office of food storage facility. it was amazing. that time, i still was under impression of Half-Life, so CS was a good addon, which allowed to do much many things, beign cruel, & showing absolutely no mercy. heheehhe
there is no many things to say regarding techical aspect of the game, since we all know Hal-fLife.... for the time it was released it was pretty good. I was running it on a Pentium II, with 128Mb RAM & 3Dfx Voodoo graphic card, (Diamond monster 3D, with 12Mb RAM). sure, it become pretty pale, compared to Unreal, for example. but it was an ultimate multiplayer game, and the lack of graphics was compensed by immersive gameplay.
like, i said, there is not much to say about technical part: the controls are good & comfortable (as they are in all the games, made by valve).
Maps. very good. a lot to choose from. I really loved them: cause many dark places to hide in with a sniper rifle... heheheh that fact became a real headache for my friends.

Counter Strike is a classic game, in all aspects. brought many hours of fun to everybody who played it.
