A great remake of the Counter Strike classic
The controls are a bit hard to get used to for people who never plays any Counter Strike game since players have to get used to the many different gun recoils and the fact they cant zoom in or use "iron sights" unless it has some type of scope. Players who cant use the keyboard too well can opt for a controller instead.
There are 4 gameplay modes which are Arsenal Demolition, Arsenal Arms Race, competitive play and casual play. All of these game modes are really fun especially with friends however for people who want the "classic" counter strike experience may want to try out and play competitive play mode. There's only 16 maps to play in with only 8 available for competitive/casual play. This can kinda make the game boring after a while until more maps are added in.
The gameplay itself can be very frustrating for new players since they'll probably get shot up and killed before they know it or maybe they'll be killed by one of many hiding/cover areas the enemy uses. However once you get the hang of it, it can be a very fun experience especially when you rack up kills on top the list.
The graphics are decent for today's standard however a huge jump for players who want to compare this to Counter strike Source (2004). The sound are pretty amazing from the gun shots to the footsteps of both friendly and enemy. The sound quality may sometimes make you believe you're in a real battlefield.
Overall the game is pretty good but nothing major compared to older Counter Strike games. Its only $15 which is a lot cheaper than most other new $60 First person shooter games with the same quality work. I recommend buying this game if you're a first person shooter fan or a Counter Strike veteran.
