Since I liked all the Coraline's book and movie, I wanted to play the Playstation 2 version. The game grows on you.
There's not so much to say about it, since it's not one of number one game, but it have a sostance at least. A story that give you the curiosity to go ahead in the game.
I like fantasy-story, and I like to use my imagination, so I enjoy the game, the only a little frustrating time are certain (not all) mini games (like some of the piano sequences) ...
Another problem: I purchased this game for 2 times , and a certain point of the game it's freeze in the same point for both. So I think is not just a 'coincidence'.
I don't have idea if it's a problem just with the Coraline for PS2 PAL CD support, in anycase, I could not complete the game until the end.
The gameplay alternate between too easy mini-mission (but since I love easy games more than hard and frustrating games, I enjoy it), but some other mini-mission are a little bit frustrating and you have a limit time to complete it.
If you like Coraline, and just to want to explore the house, the rooms, talks with the characters around like in the movie, I suppose you would like it if you just , like me, are aware to don't aspect too much from this game. It's just for funny.
But the atmosphere is acceptable from my point of view.
