So coolboarders came out in 98' which means there weren't too many snowboarding games worth the time of day. I have to admit I was waaay into eXtreme sports (notice the capital X) and this game seemed right up my alley. Got it for christmas and played it until I beat the crap out of it and then I played it again. Anyway, the game itself is very fun even to this day. I sometimes catch myself picking it out of my pile of games and just sitting down comparing it to the infamous Tricky and other SSX titles noticing how much more fun it is to just be a good snowboarder rather than trying to get floating snowflakes for power ups. Nothing against Tricky or SSX but Coolboarders is just plain cool, even if you don't go to the clubs and don't like house music. Buy it, try it, if you don't like it fry it.
