Its like Mega Man on STEROIDS!
Contra was an amazing game on the SNES and what a great choice for a gaming console pick.
A terror has happen in the City as the Aliens from the previous time have come back for Revenge! You and Your body have been sent to fight back and finish them off once n for all!
The game play: Is perfect, shoot anywhere, throw enormous bombs, get better weapons, the works. After each level you have to face a boss that as always have been in the contra serious, a pain in the A++ and hope to god you don't loose your weapon when fighting. the levels are nice, you get from 2-d to umm, up screen? that takes you to a new Contra challenge. Also yes the game is still hard as hell. 9/10
The Music: Oh boy did Konami sure knew how to use that damn Sony sound chip. It really fits with the game as you go on. So great, so 16-bit. 9/10
The Story: As you first pop in the game it says aliens are attacking again and you gotta stop them, other words, short story but great game. 6/10
Difficulty: Depends which mode your on but never the less, HARD & FUN 8/10
Above all guys, this game is just plain fun, really nails the arcade games as one of them and one that won't be forgotten, truly a classic game. I strongly recommend to give it a try and a must have for SNES collectors.
