Company of Heroes is a Real Time Strategy game developed by Relic Entertainment. Relic Entertainment is highly known for it's Warhammer game series. As a RTS developer, it isn't too hard to understand that the Relic team know what their doing. Company of Heroes sets it's story in World War II, or to be more precise, in the year of 1944 and the assault on Normandy, better known as D-Day. Your missions are set on Omaha beach and other strategic points important for the succsess of the Allies and defeat of the german Nazi army. Although RTS games are highly repulsive because they are complicated, CoH will make even the biggest RTS game hater (like me not so long ago) spend everyday at least 5 hours in front of the computer screen. Great graphics, fantastic strategic points, hard and interesting missions won't even give you a shot to breathe. Maybe the best part for a little skilled players is the fact that you die a lot of times, givin' you more reason to play and play :D. Some may find this annoying, but trust me, it's one of the best parts of the game. While playing, you'll notice the so called "french diversity". The delicacy of your seargent keeps you sharp all the time and the cursing, swearing and pain yells keep you real and bring the WW2 feelling into your bones. In the end, CoH is a fantastic game, proving that RTS has an ace in his sleeve, showing that not only simulations, adventures, platformers and shooters are just great games. Two thumbs up!
